Since I started at RAU in November 2017 I’ve been very much a one person band, but things are about to change! We are advertising for two new Learning Technologists to join the team (closing date 22 June 2018). The new Learning Technologists will be working primarily on developing courses as part of the new Catalyst bid but they will be part of the IT team here at RAU and we’ll all be working together – and we have lots of exciting ideas in mind!
The job specification states:
We are looking for 2 experienced Learning Technologists, specialising in online and blended learning, to join the RAU team. Working alongside our academic and professional services teams, you will design and develop a wide range of digital resources to enhance teaching and learning at the RAU.
This is an important role, scoping and defining learning journeys and developing engaging interactive learning assets. You will have an innovative and creative approach to investigating, piloting, producing and implementing digital learning techniques, helping to shape new and exciting learning experiences.
You will have practical instructional design expertise (both online and face to face), advanced technical skills, excellent communication and organisational skills and experience of leading multidisciplinary teams on technology enhanced (TEL) projects. You will bring a deep understanding of how technology can be used to enhance the quality of teaching and learning, providing engaging experiences and positive student outcomes for a diverse community of learners.
So if you’d like to join our team and be part of our digital transformation please apply!
